This year Wake Forest celebrates it's 100th birthday and has never looked better!!  The town of Wake Forest has experienced tremendous growth and continues to grow at a rapid pace.  It offers so much to it's residents and continues to be a friendly, unique community that has an incredible "officially registered" historic district. 

Wake Forest has that small town charm which continues to attract newcomers while still offering all the amenities of city life. You are sure to find any product or service you are looking for including some fun events for the whole family. In downtown, alone, you’ll be able to find over 100 thriving businesses including specialty retailers, amazing places to eat, fine art, farmers market and summer concerts. Located approximately 10 miles north of Raleigh, Wake Forest is a great location for anyone to enjoy culture, history, shopping and more!  It is even the home of Talk of Your Towne!

Wake Forest is served by nine parks and community centers. They include Plummer Park, Tyler Run Park, Holding Park and Wake Forest Community House, Flaherty Dog Park,  J.B. Flaherty Park, Taylor Street Park and Alton Massenburg Center, Ailey Young Park, H.L.
