Morrisville

Welcome to Morrisville, as featured by the Talk of Your Towne!! We’re excited you have stopped by to visit us and are interested in finding out what’s going on in and around Your Towne!  Morrisville is a cozy community of approximately 15,000 residents located in between Raleigh and Durham with Cary wrapping around three sides of it. It is adjacent to the RDU Airport and Research Triangle Park, which makes this a prime location to live and work.

Morrisville continues to be an inviting community offering a rich history, some of the best schools in Wake County, and a safe family atmosphere. The area was named for Jeremiah Morris back in 1852 when Morris donated land for the North Carolina Railroad to expand with a depot and water tower among other things. Since then Morrisville has prospered into a close knit community of local businesses and residents and the town persists in its continued growth. From shopping to taking the family out for a Friday night dinner, Morrisville maintains being a great place to live, start a new business or just visit.  For more information about the Town of Morrisville, visit the town’s Web site at http://www.ci.morrisville.nc.us
